15–17 May 2026 | Hawkesbury Valley, NSW
An educational conference for sharing herbal wisdom, exploring the women’s mysteries and cultivating community connection.
On the third weekend in May, women gather for three days of teaching, ritual, conversation and embodied practice, held in relationship with land, lineage and living traditions.
Wise Women Gathering exists because women need places to gather that are not rushed, not extractive and not performative.
This is a conference devoted to the careful transmission of knowledge, to sitting with complexity rather than simplifying it and to remembering ways of learning that have always been relational, embodied and rooted in the living world.
Across the weekend, we come together to listen, to learn and to be changed by what happens when women meet in shared purpose.
For women who feel called to deeper ways of knowing and being.
Women who work with plants, bodies, land and people. Women who carry responsibility in families, communities and professions. Women who are learning, remembering, unravelling or beginning again
You don’t need to be an expert. You don’t need to arrive with any thing to say. You only need a willingness to listen, participate and be in relationship.
Across three days, the Conference weaves together
herbal education across multiple levels of practice
women’s health and cyclical wisdom
ritual and ceremony
conversation, story and shared inquiry
time on the land and in community
Sessions are led by experienced educators and practitioners, and held in a way that honours both knowledge and lived experience.
This is not a conference you rush through. It’s a place to settle into.
Wise Women Gathering takes place on Darug Land in the Hawkesbury Valley, ninety minutes north of Sydney.
The land holds river, bush and open sky, offering space to breathe, walk, sit and gather between sessions. Accommodation and meals are shared, supporting a sense of continuity and presence across the weekend.
Each year, we meet on the third weekend in May.
Our attendees experience :
renewed confidence in their own knowing
practical herbal and embodied knowledge
deeper connection with other women
a felt sense of belonging and continuity
nourishment that carries beyond the weekend
The effects are not always immediate or dramatic.
They’re often steady, grounding and enduring.
Wise Women Gathering is shaped by a diverse group of educators, each bringing their own lineage, discipline and lived experience.
Together, they offer teaching that is grounded, generous and responsive to the women in attendance.
Wise Women Gathering is intentionally limited in size to support depth of learning, quality of connection and care of place.
Tickets provide access to the full three-day conference, including teaching sessions, panels and communal gatherings.
Includes:
access to all education sessions across the weekend
participation in rituals, panels and shared gatherings
use of conference spaces and facilities
support services including Kids Camp during scheduled session time
What Women say…
"Wise Women Gathering holds the Wise Woman traditions so needed in these chaotic times. I especially love witnessing the growth of the children and the joy that comes with reconnecting with each other. There is a feeling of Home where everyone feels welcome. Meal times are also a highlight and such a buzz of conversation and laughter. I have made deep and lasting friendships from attending this Gathering and am so grateful to be part of it."
