Lalita Yagnik works at the meeting point of Ayurveda, movement and disciplined practice, supporting a deeper connection between body, mind and vitality. Her work draws on classical Indian lineages, including Kalari healing and Kalaripayattu, alongside her training in naturopathy with a focus on thyroid health. Shaped by decades of study across cultures and traditions, her practice is grounded in precision, strength and the cultivation of steady awareness through the body.
Lalita Yagnik, originally from India, is a degree qualified Naturopath specialising in Thyroid disorders, a Kalari Ayurveda Practitioner, Kalaripayattu Instructor (Indian Martial art), Kalari Yoga Instructor, and musician. She is passionate about health and well-being, and employs what she teaches in her personal life to feel free-er, stronger and more disciplined. Her practice involves developing focus in the mind/body, while building a strong foundation through ancient physical pedagogies.
Lalita started practicing yoga in India, while in high school. She later traveled extensively, living in Japan and studying Karate, then in Brazil, studying Capoeira and fire dancing. In 2009 Lalita returned to her roots and began studying Kalari Healing, Ayurveda, massage, treatments and Kalaripayattu. Now based in Australia, Lalita, visits India each year to study and train with her masters. She is currently teaching regular weekly classes, workshops and has an online learning portal.
