Lucy Allen

Counsellor / Therapist

Lucy works as a counsellor and social worker, supporting women and families through life’s tender and transformative seasons with grounded presence and practical care. Her work is shaped by long experience in community and public health settings and a deep commitment to women’s circles, friendship and collective support as essential foundations for wellbeing and belonging.

Lucy is a counsellor and social worker with more than fifteen years of experience supporting women and families through life’s most tender and transformative seasons. Her career has woven through private practice, community organisations, and her current position in public health, where she manages the Community Counselling Service across the Blue Mountains. Guided by a deep commitment to emotional wellbeing and human connection, Lucy brings warmth, grounded presence, and practical wisdom to every space she holds.
As a mother to two teenage daughters, Lucy’s personal journey continues to deepen her understanding of the complexities, joys, and challenges that shape women’s lives. For the past decade, she has co-facilitated women’s circles - safe, intentional spaces where women can be heard, witnessed, and honoured.
Lucy is deeply passionate about the essential role of female friendship and collective support. She views sisterhood as a vital, nurturing force - a place where authenticity is welcomed, growth is witnessed, and belonging is restored. Through both her counselling work and her facilitation of women’s circles, Lucy seeks to cultivate communities where women can show up fully, support one another, and explore their own evolution with courage and compassion
